Aktuell finden in den MMC Studios die Dreharbeiten für den Sci-Fi-Thriller „Stowaway“ von Regisseur Joe Penna statt. Das Drehbuch schrieb Penna gemeinsam mit Ryan Morrison. Die Hauptrollen spielen Anna Kendrick, Toni Colette, Daniel Dae Kim und Shamier Anderson.

Amazon Studios hat sich beim Marché du Film in Cannes die globalen Rechte an „7500“ gesichert, der zu großen Teilen in den MMC Studios gedreht wurde. Ausgeschlossen sind lediglich Deutschland, die Schweiz und Österreich. In Deutschland kommt Patrick Vollrath‘s Spielfilm im Januar 2020 über Universum Film in die Kinos.
